Sony Marathi has announced that the next season of the popular game show ‘Kon Honar Crorepati will be hosted by the popular actor-director Nagraj Manjule, who shot to game with his Marathi films like Fandry and Sairaat and was appreciated as an actor too in films like The Silence as well as Naal. The show Kon Honar Crorepati had garnered a lot of attention and raised a lot of expectations, especially when actor Sachin Khedekar had successfully hosted the first two earlier seasons of the show and actor Swwapnil Joshi had hosted the third. The popular Kaun Banega Crorepati host Amitabh Bachchan ‘s luck seems to have rubbed on Nagraj Manjule ever since he set out to direct the mega star in his Hindi debut directorial film Jhund based on the life of Vijay Barse, the founder of slum soccer. Whether Nagraj Manjule will prove to be a worthy successor to Sachin Khedekar as well as Swwapnil Joshi now remains to be seen after the show goes on air shortly on Sony Marathi
