What does one say about a dusky yet beautiful and charming girl who is a post graduate in Hindi literature and was working on her PhD? What does one say about a girl with the kind of body that can attract men, women and even children and is a “double graduate"(?). What does one say about a woman who is full of the joy of living and making the best of life? What does one say about a girl from a traditional Indian family and is aware of her Indian culture and is an exponent of Bharatnatyam and is a linguist who can speak Hindi, English, German and Spanish with equal ease?

What does one say about a girl who is proud her achievements in different fields, but is and has always been obsessed with the idea of making it in Hindi films as an actress who has no inhibitions and go to any extent to play any kind of female role and not be satisfied till she does justice to it? What does one say about a girl who knows her Manzil (goal) and is willing to walk or climb every rough road or ladder to achieve what she wants with all her heart?

The young woman who has made me praise all these questions and will raise many more questions in the time to come is Nanda Yadav who has been in Mumbai in quest of her Manzil (goal), but has also travelled abroad to do films, short films and web series in different languages. She has already proved her calibre in films like “The Letters"directed by William Riead, in which she played the role of a new postulant Nun, “The Hexing” directed by Christoper Lenoir in which she took on the challenge of playing an Indian Princess.

Back home she has played a major role in the comics web series“Jeeney Bhi Do Yaaro” and only recently she was seen in a key role in the much talked about film, “Why Cheat India"(the original title was Cheat India)with the original serial-kisser, Emraan Hashmi. Like most talented actresses, she too has many attractive promises in one of her many bags which she has reserved only for keeping promises that are made and promises that are kept and promises that are made only to be broken.

She is on the threshold of her career and the way she is perceiving her role, it will not be long before she will be in a class of her own. There are many who are already referring to her as“the modern version of the veteran actress Nanda she may even find an identity of her own because she would hate to be known as a copy of someone else, however great.
