Nation's Most Prestigious Award Ceremony Applauded By Shri Narendra Modi Ji

Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival (DPIFF) CEO Mr. Abhishek Mishra received an appreciative and congratulatory letter from the Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi Ji. The Team DPIFF was extremely delighted have bestowed upon them an honour of this kind. In the letter, Shri Narendra Modi Ji spoke about how pleased he was to learn about the DPIFF Awards this year. He also threw light on the importance of Cinema and how diverse and vibrant the Indian Film Industry is growing. He mentioned that cinema plays an important role in Nation Building and strengthens the sentiment of "Ek Bhaarat Shreshth Bhaarat".  This profound statement coming from a constitutional figure certainly motivated the DPIFF Team and shall continue to encourage the entire industry for years to come. Speaking of the revolution of Indian Cinema PM Narendra Modi Ji mentioned in his letter that cinema today is helping in spreading awareness about important social issues such as Sanitation, Women Empowerment, Sports etc.

He was also happy to know that this year DPIFF will be celebrating the 150th Birth Anniversary of both Father of Indian Cinema - Dadasaheb Phalke Ji as well as the Father of Nation - Mahatma Gandhi Ji. Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2020 in affiliation with Incredible India, aims at celebrating the Grandeur of Indian Cinema. It is considered to be one of the greatest honors bestowed upon any artist of the Indian Film Fraternity. It is held in the highest regard and finds in attendance a host of dignified and distinguished names each year.Taking forward the legacy of Dadasaheb Phalke Ji, the Team DPIFF will be conducting the Awards yet again this year on the 20th of February 2020 at Taj Lands End, Mumbai.
