Stunning model-actress Diana Penty has wrapped her upcoming film Section 84, ( she plays ‘Anjali’) which stars superstar Amitabh Bachchan, talented star-actors Nimrat Kaur and Abhishek Banerjee. Announcing the ‘wrap-up’, the dynamic Diana shared images from the sets with a heartwarming note commemorating the experience. The movie Section 84 written and directed by hugely-talented Ribhu Dasgupta, is  an Indian political drama-thriller and about a retired eminent politician trying to  stage his ‘comeback’. It explores various themes of power, corruption and ambition Incidentally, Ribhu Dasgupta had previously co-directed Amitabh Bachchan in this popular Sony TV series ‘Yudh’(2014), which had marked Bachchan-saab’s debut in TV fiction show genre.. And Ribhu also directed the Big B in this mystery thriller film ‘Te3n’ (2016).  The photogenic actress Diana said, “And it's a wrap. On what has been an incredibly special journey for me. Before we began shooting #Section84, I was beyond excited to be working with superstar Amitabh Bachchan for the first time, but also so damn nervous!! But now that we've been through a film together I can safely say, it has been one of the most enriching experiences of my career. As an actor, I finally know what it means to 'BE' in a scene. Mr. Bachchan allows you to do that and gives you space to do so much more. Watching and observing him is like witnessing a master class, “ enthuses Diana.

“ Finally I got to hang out and shoot with my co-stars  Nimrat Kaur  and Abhishek Banerjee  on sets. Here's proof that we're actually in the same film . Director Ribhu_Dasgupta, thank you for bringing this whole thing together so beautifully But more importantly, thank you for making sure our stomachs were always full ! Priorities, priorities”.

The exuberant Diana had earlier expressed her super-excitement to delve into this new genre and to work with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan. 

The movie Section 84  is co-produced by Jio Studios, Reliance.Entertainment and Film Hangar. For those who are not legally-aware, Section 84 in Indian Penal Code ( IPC ) relates to legal justice for an offense committed by  person of  unsound mind. Whereby the law considers that the person of unsound mind is incapable of knowing both--the nature of the committed offense or crime and also that it is wrong or contrary to prevailing law.

Beginning the year 2023 with the Akshay Kumar starrer movie Selfie, Diana was recently also seen in the popular Shahid Kapoor co-starrer Bloody Daddy on  Jio Cinema (OTT) . Playing a pretty-tough cop for the first time, glam-girl Diana is perhaps the only honest character (“Aditi Rawat” ) in the world of deceitful action and crime in Bloody Daddy. Interestingly, Diana shares her birthday ( November 2^nd) with that of mega-star Shahrukh (‘Pathaan’) Khan.

From making a global sizzling splash at the Cannes Film Festival last month, to a string of prestige projects releasing shortly, svelte style-icon Diana Penty is definitely on a soaring star-trek roll !
