New Year, marks a beginning of special moments in everyone’s life and this New Year’s I would like start on a happy note. I love going for long drives and if I get time I would love to take my close friends and family for a long drive. Just like my character Sharda is a family oriented woman, so is Aasiya.
2019 has been a fruitful year for me and I am truly grateful for everyone who has been a part of my journey. I look forward to work harder and spread happiness in our viewers lives as Sharda on Sony SAB’s Tenali Rama.

Coming from an Army background, I have celebrated New Years in various places across the country while growing up. For me, New Year marks a new journey of your life which is ready to take you to your next destination. 2019 has by far been the most eventful and unexpected year where as an artist I got the opportunity to explore and step out of my comfort zone specially when I was playing the role of SanjanaKohli in the show. I have received immense love and support from our viewers and I want to keep entertaining them in 2020 with laughter packed performances and all I would like to say is, ‘Picture abhibakihai mere dost’.
Dev Joshi (Baalveer in Sony SAB’s Baalveer Returns)

2019 has been the year of celebration. I made a comeback to television with Baalveer Returns, received the Bal Shakti Puraskar for excellence in the field of arts and culture from the President of India and I had the opportunity to witness Baalveer rank 7th globally as the most searched show on Google. I couldn’t have asked for more. I only hope for a year filled with happiness and just like Baalveer sends a good message to the viewers in the same way I would like to contribute from my end to make the world happier.
As for my New Year plans, I enjoy watching the New Year count down on television with my family. I have a dream specifically for the New Years that once I would want to be the part of New Year’s Eve countdown in New York, Times Square.

New Year for me is like embarking on a new journey. It’s that time of the year when you leave all the negatives behind and focused on the positive changes that you can bring in your life. I like to focus on fitness and health so, I take up one fitness challenge for myself, something that I wish to achieve every year. This year, I would like my fans too, to take up one activity that will keep them fit, active and happy.
