Business of 'Fakefare' awards is becoming cheaper in Bollywood

Recently, people's eyes have been on the 69th Filmfare Awards held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat on January 28. After the National Awards, this honor is seen as a prestige in Bollywood. Like always, this time too it was a successful event, despite this, people were found criticizing the distribution of awards in hushed tones. Allegations of partiality (bias) have been made on social media and it has been said that beyond allegations like 'Andha bante rewari apne ko hin dey', this respect is no longer there.

For now, let's take a look at this prestigious honor ceremony of Bollywood, see how much is fake and how fair is this show. The audience should decide for themselves about the nomination, expression, and success of the film.

It’s not just an award anymore

Why was the Best Actor award given to Ranbir Kapoor for the film 'Animal' and not Sunny Deol for 'Gadar 2' or Shahrukh Khan for 'Jawaan'? Perhaps even the organizers will not be able to answer such questions. Similarly, in the second category, Best Actress Alia Bhatt ('Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani'), in the Best Critic category (Male) Vikrant Massey ('12th Fail') and (Female) Rani Mukherjee ('Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway') Got this honor. The host of the show was Karan Johar in whose presentation Vidhu Vinod Chopra got the award of Best Director and for '12th Fail' he became proud. The Best Film award also goes to this film. The days of answering these questions as to why Vicky Kaushal is honored for his supporting role in 'Dinky' instead of the role of 'Sam Bahadur' are left behind, whenever the stars of Bollywood's Jubilee film receive the Filmfare Award. To get it, he used to go to get a new shoot stitched and return empty-handed. Now the award ceremony is being seen from the business point of view.

Awards are now based on the price

The word 'business' may also fall short because now every third day there is news of an award from somewhere like a fish market. In the name of International, Asia Pacific, National, Global, Singapore, Dubai, and Hollywood awards. Film awards are being distributed. These days, cinema awards are given either based on face value or the basis of price. Be it a junior artist or a group dancer, today awards are available for everyone. Everyone can decorate the trophy neatly in their homes and keep it in the name of 'Best Performer'. The flood of fakefare honors has never been so intense before.

Still, there are awards that are honored

However, many respected awards of Bollywood are still in the race to maintain their dignity for the last many years. Those who try to stay away from the crowd. These are- Filmfare, International Award, IIFA Award, Zee Cine Award, Screen Award, Stardust Award, Guild Award, IATA Award, etc. Going to these award ceremonies is considered an honor.

There is a need to control the 'fakefare' awards coming out like Wild Mushrooms or Truffle.
