NFDC Introduces A New Segment At 13th Film Bazaar Titled, “Behind The Silver Screen, Empowering The Aspirants” To Organize Workshops For Students With A Special Focus On Skill Development & Entrepreneurship

The 13th Edition of Film Bazaar, National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) held in Goa on the sidelines of 50th edition of IFFI has introduced Workshops for Students with a special focus on Skill Development & Entrepreneurship. The Segment during Film Bazaar is titled “Behind the Silver Screen, Empowering the Aspirants”.

This segment will have a series of workshops by leading artists and mentors from the Film Industry for the students from various film institutes across India.Renowned industry members Adil Hussain, Filmmaker, Meghna Gulzar, CBFC Chairman, Prasoon Joshi, Vani Tripathi Tikoo, Puneet Krishna, Rajiv Krishna Menon, Subhash GhaiShylaja Chetlur will mentor the students at Film Bazaar held from Nov 20-24, 2019.

The students would gain an immersive experience with an opportunity to be surrounded with incredible information and engaging conversations adding a silver lining to their careers.  The experienced orators would offer insights into various aspects of filmmaking from Script Writing to Screening.

In addition to the workshops, NFDC is also organizing two-focused panel discussions on Skill development & Entrepreneurship at Knowledge Series of Film Bazaar- Script to Screen: Empowering Youth through Skill Development and Indian Cinema Inspiring Entrepreneurs.Vishal Bhardwaj and Sidharth Roy Kapur will be part of both the panels on Skill development & Entrepreneurship held on November 21 in Knowledge Series of Film Bazaar.Smt. TCA Kalyani, Managing Director, NFDC who introduced the Skill Development workshops at 13th Film Bazaar says, ” This Film Bazaar we are integrating skill development as part of NFDC’s development activity and organizing a series of specially curated workshops by renowned mentors and artists for the film students of various film schools. The idea is to empower the youth of India and create a pool of skilled youth and also to provide holistic knowledge of film making to the students so that they can make the right career choices in future. I am sure it would be enlightening and learning experience both for the students and NFDC team.”
