Since last week, buzz-news has been floating around that mega-star Salman Khan’s driver and two cooks had tested corona-positive, but apparently with “mild symptoms”. Ever since, the charismatic Khan, who has tested negative, has preferred to remain in self-isolation . The sinewy superstar’s family members have reportedly also tested negative for the novel corona-virus. A source close to the family on Thursday said. Khan and his kin were in isolation after their driver and two household staff members were diagnosed with corona positive.
The staff members have already been admitted at a hospital here. On the work front, anchor-host the ‘Dabangg’ Khan has been shooting for the reality show “Bigg Boss 14” (Colors) on weekends. “ Bhai (Salman) will shoot for ‘Bigg Boss-14 ’ on Friday (today) for the much-awaited Weekend Ka Vaar grilling,” an insider disclosed .
According to sources, the super-star and his team will follow strict additional safety measures and will be moving within restricted space in bio-bubble, fully sanitized with ‘zero’ direct interactions with the crew of the Bigg Boss reality show. It is learnt on the home-front that two family events in Salman’s family were abruptly cancelled due to this corona development. One was Salman’s parents Salim-saab and Salma’s wedding anniversary and the other being sister Arpita Khan’s wedding anniversary, both on the same day.
Meanwhile, the workaholic Khan has completed shooting for his film “Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai” last month. The film, directed by Prabhudheva, also stars Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff. Yet another movie , a crime-drama, titled ‘Antim’, directed by Mahesh Manjrekar is also being shot, where Salman plays a dare-devil cop and ( brother-in-law) Aayush Sharma is cast as a dreaded gangster.
