No longer ‘pareshaan’---star-pop-playback singer -Shalmali Kholgade celebrates rakshaa-bandhan after 15 years !

Versatile pop and multi-lingual playback Bollywood singer Shalmali Kholgade ( of  chartbuster trending songs ‘Balam Pichkari’  ‘Pareshaan’ and ‘Baby ko bass pasand hai’ etc  ) used to be literally ‘pareshaan’ every year during the raakhee-tyohaar,  because her brother was based far away in the U.S.  Exuberant Shalmali who  completed her music course having studied  in Berklee college of Music in Boston ( U.S.)  met up with her brother  even as she  surprised him  & celebrated Raksha Bandhan with him after 15 years. Sharing  her fond memories with her brother says, " I don’t think I’ve been with my brother ( Sudhanwa) for Raksha Bandhan for over 15 years now! So I’m really delighted to be with him for the festival this year. We both really loved Top Ramen noodles growing up and we used to fight over it. I am the younger one. I didn’t think that eating slowly would help the noodles last longer. My brother always had noodles left after I was done and wouldn’t share his with me,” chuckles power-house ‘live’ performer Shalmali who has also ‘acted’ in a regional movie called ‘Tu Maaza Jeev’
