NSAAN AUR INSAANIYAT KO BACHAANE KE LIYE KUCH BHI KAREGE BAAP -BETI , GHAI AUR MEGHANA

In one of those non-showman times, Subhash Ghai came up with a unique statement when in an almost philosophical mood he said, “when God created man he never told him to come back to him with all  his organs which help him to live a healthy life. It is a fact that man has always looked for various ways of disposing of the bodies of the dead.

But the organs, modern science has discovered can be transplanted into other bodies and give them new lives and I am happy to know that this movement of donating different organs of the body is growing not only in different parts of the world, but now also in a big way in India. It is indeed a great feeling to know that some organ of your body can save the life of someone else.

I have been carried away by this idea and have now pledged to donate all my organs. I am also happy to know that my daughter Meghna Ghai Puri has also taken a similar pledge and is inspiring and encouraging others to do the same”.

On another occasion  both Ghai and Meghna made an appeal which said that the best way to celebrate life  would be to promise to gift your organs so that other human beings and humanity itself could get a new lease of life”.

Continuing in the same philosophical vein, Ghai said, “the first thing we normally do when someone dies under any kind of circumstances is to see how fast to let the body leave this world. But there are very few who hardly stop to think that if some organ of a body is donated at the right time, before the body is either buried or cremated, it can be given away as a gift to someone who desperately needs that organ or as many organs as possible.

God doesn’t want us to go back to him with our bodies but only our souls, so if our bodies which have supported us for long and are no longer needed to keep us going, will it not be better if the right people are approached, the pledge is made and organs are donated?

I think it is a great modern miracle to see some organ of one person living in the body of someone else. Just imagine someone who needs a kidney, a liver or even a heart if he or she has to live and your organs and other parts of your body gives them new hope to live with the help of the parts of your body.

Jism ko mitti mein milaane se ya jalaane se achcha hai ki jism ka koi hissa kisi ke kaam aaye aur hamaare jaane ke baad bhi zinda rahe kisi aur ko zinda rakhkar”.
