Nutcracker Character Is The Personification Of Feminity, Says Actress Keira Knightley

Disney's latest Holiday feature “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” is all set to release worldwide as well as India on 2nd November 2018.Inspired by both E.T.A. Hoffmann’s classic story “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King” and Alexandre Dumas’ retelling in the 1892 Tchaikovsky ballet “The Nutcracker", while the all-new movie isn’t a ballet, filmmakers felt the story wouldn’t be complete without paying homage to the ballet that endeared the story in the hearts of audiences around the world.Acclaimed actress Kiera Knightley is all set to play the famous sugar plum fairy and she speaks on her research for the role!Kiera says, “Sugar Plum is the personification of femininity,” says Keira Knightley, who portrays the character. “I like to do a lot of research, so I started with the actual music of the Sugar Plum Fairy, which led to her laugh. I later found her high-pitched, girly voice that has two sides to it: pristine femininity and at the same time, quite assertive.” Disney's The Nutcracker and the Four Realms has all the hallmarks of a holiday movie and is a special treat for fans to kick off the most wonderful time of year.
