OH NO! SRK'S TV SHOW PUSHED? By Team Bollyy 14 Sep 2017 | Updated On 14 Sep 2017 09:17 IST in OTT News New Update Follow Us Share SRK fans have been on their toes ever since the superstar announced his return to television with the upcoming motivational talk show on Star Plus, TED Talks. But now it seems that the wait just got a little bit longer! The show which was to launch in October during Diwali, now we hear has been pushed ahead. The show, to be hosted by SRK will now go on-air either in mid-November or December. According to sources, the channel has invested hugely in the show and a lot of post-production work needs to be done. Also, right now, they have two celebrity-studded shows coming up—Akshay Kumar’s The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, on which he is the super judge and Farah Khan’s Lip Sing Battle. An unnamed source opened up on the developments and said, “Shah Rukh’s show is also slated for weekends, and they want a very good slot for it—either in the morning or evening. They are looking at building it up like Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate, as Ted Talks is also very informative. They want to open it in a big way. Even SRK is not in a rush. His last few releases haven’t fared very well at the box office and he is very particular about his comeback show. So, they have decided to wait it out and take a call on it later.” Ironically, Shah Rukh Khan's Jab Harry Met Sejal was about to clash with Akshay Kumar's Toilet : Ek Prem Katha on August 11, but at the last moment, SRK shifted his date and released the film on August 4 instead. Well, it seems Shah Rukh Khan fans will have to wait a little more.
