Sony TV which recently took The Kapil Sharma Show off air, is reportedly also planning to do the same with the Drama Company. The comedy show that replaced TKSS is slated to go off air by the end of this month. The news was confirmed by producer Preeti Simoes to tellychakkar.com. She said, "We were always a limited series. Our season will end by this month. I have no clue if the channel plans to bring the show with another season."
According to a reports, Sunil Grover's show might replace Krushna Abhishek's show on the channel. "It is in a very nascent stage. But the channel for sure is bringing a non-fiction project with Sunil Grover. The concept and idea is still at the discussion stage but it will obviously be a comic series," a source said to was reported as saying. The Drama Company, which is hardly two months old, had a stellar cast including Mithun Chakraborty, Krushna Abhishek, Ali Asgar, Sanket Bhosle and Sungandha Mishra but failed to garner good ratings.
While there is no confirmation from Sunil or the channel, we await a positive response from them as the fans are getting eager to see Sunil back in action!
