While people across the world celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi, Zee TV actors like Abhishek Kapur from Kundali Bhagya, Rajat Dahiya from Sanjog, Ashi Singh from Meet, Mugdha Chaphekar from Kumkum Bhagya, Neeharika Roy from Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan and Aman Gandhi from Bhagya Lakshmi shared some most cherished memory of the festival and how they plan on welcoming Bappa this year.
Neeharika Roy, who is playing the role of Radha in Zee TV's Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, "This is my first Ganpati celebration in Mumbai and I am really very excited to celebrate this festival.
The best part of this festival is when everyone establishes lord Ganpati murti which brings a lot of positivity and good vibes at home. I am planning to visit some of my friend's places and the famous Ganpati pandals in Mumbai to experience my first Mumbai’s Ganesh Chaturthi."
Aman Gandhi who plays the role of Ayush in Zee TV’s Bhagya Lakshmi mentioned, “Since I have moved to Mumbai, I have been watching the grand celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi.
I feel the vibe of the whole city changes when the festival starts. I love going to the Bappa’s pandals and I also ensure that I visit my friend’s places to worship the idol and eat delicious Modaks. This year as well, I am looking forward for the same and I wish everyone a very Happy Ganesh Chaturthi, stay blessed!”
Mugdha Chaphekar who plays the role of Prachi in Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya mentioned, "Ganpati Bappa has the most special place in my life. Being a Maharashtrian and a true Mumbaikar my favourite festival is of course Ganesh Chaturthi.
We have literally lost count of how many years it has been because we welcome Bappa every year to our house. This tradition was started by my ancestors and has been followed till date.
Every year, I wait to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with all the rituals and traditions, and I like doing it the way it is written in the Shastra. When it comes to dressing up, I choose to wear a saree for this festival and anyway, I always look for opportunities to wear saree.
All our friends and families come together to take blessings from Bappa, we spend a lot of time together. I believe Ganpati Bappa's charm is really very different, the vibe during the festival is very unique. I wish everyone a very Happy Ganesh Chaturthi."
Ashi Singh, who essays the role of Meet in Zee TV’s Meet mentioned, “Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the biggest festivals in Maharashtra. Growing up here, I have witnessed Ganesh Chaturthi being celebrated full of joy and enthusiasm in every house.
It’s our family ritual that we welcome Bappa home every year and what I absolutely love about this festival is how Maharashtra just lights up during Ganesh Chaturthi.
We see so many colours and beautiful idols in every nook and corner of the city that just illuminates everyone's mood. I wish everyone a very happy Ganesh Chaturthi.”
Abhishek Kapur, who essays the role of Sameer in Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya mentioned, "I have seen everyone in a very nice festive mood in Maharashtra and I enjoy attending the rituals that take place during Ganesh Chaturthi.
For the last 6 years, Bappa has been visiting my house and this Ganesh Chaturthi year as well, he will be blessing us with his presence.
In fact for this year celebration, I was surprised when my mother came all the way from Delhi to celebrate the festival with me.
I enjoy the vibe of the city and the delicacies like Modak. This occasion is one of the biggest festivals in Maharashtra and the way people dance their hearts out in Visarjan is just unbelievable.
In case, the rain starts, it will be just a cherry on top. l really like to host everyone when family and friends get together, for joy and aarti. Wishing laughter and fun to cheer your days, I wish everyone a very Happy Ganesh Chaturthi, stay blessed!”
Rajat Dahiya, who essays the role of Gopal in Zee TV’s Sanjog mentioned, “Ganesh Chaturthi means the beginning of good times. Whenever anyone starts anything new in their life, they start with taking blessings from lord Ganesha.
The whole festival has a good and positive vibe to it, that really brightens up everyone’s mood and day. This year, I will be shooting for my recently launched show Sanjog and I believe it is Ganesh Ji's blessing and gift only to me.
I enjoy working on such auspicious days because after all, work is my biggest worship. I pray to Lord Ganesha to bless me and our show this year so that it becomes a huge success and I get appreciated for my work.
I totally support the idea of eco-friendly idols as we should make every contribution to preserving nature. I wish everyone a very happy Ganesh Chaturthi and urge everyone to spread the love around them.
Also, I request all my fans to keep loving our recently launched show on Zee TV, so that just like how Bappa arrives every year, they also watch us and shower their love on us every year.”
