The festive season has begun with great spectacle and grandeur. Diwali is here to light up everyone's life and fill it with love, luck and happiness. To add more 'takda and entertainment,' to the grand celebrations Bollywood's 'Singham' aka Ajay Devgn along with his ‘Thank God’ co-stars Siddharth Malhotra, Rakul Preet Singh and director Indra Kumar is all set to grace the most-loved comedy show on Indian Television, The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony Entertainment Television this Sunday, 23rd October 2022. Along with the dhamakedar hilarious gags, the entire team of Thank God are in for a gala time packed with endless laughter with Kapil’s naya parivaar.
There is always something special in the script that prompts an actor to come on board and be a part of the film. In a candid conversation with host Kapil Sharma, country’s heartthrob, Siddharth Malhotra would be seen revealing what attracted him to sign Thank God. Siddharth shares, “I think like how in our country we believe in Karma and as the saying goes ‘Jaisi karni waisi bharni’, this concept has been beautifully narrated in the film by the writers and Indra Sir.” Listening to this Ajay Devgn will pull Kapil’s leg saying but Kapil doesn’t believe in it to which Siddharth Malhotra and Archana joins in saying, “Iski Karni or bharni alag hain. Jis tarah karta hain use kahin zyada bhar deta hain (laughs).”
Siddharth further added, “The film is based on a flawed person who aspires to rise from the lower middle class to the upper middle class and beyond and what measures he takes to get there. Inbetween all this he meets with an accident and goes up and meets Chitragupta where it will be decided if he will go to heaven or hell after playing a game. I adored the character and the whole idea that Indra Sir presented, and he did so in a humorous manner. This is an apt fam-com film for Diwali.”
Not only this, host Kapil Sharma who is sporting a dashing new look will be applauded by none other than fitness freak Siddharth Malhotra. He will go on to ask Kapil the secret to his fitness.
Tune into The Kapil Sharma Show, every Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 pm only on Sony Entertainment Television!
