On the occasion of Mahashivratri, Radha & Damini ace ‘Tandav’ moves in Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan

Zee TV’s popular fiction offering, Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, is a mature romance based in modern-day Vrindavan. It captures the story of Mohan (Shabir Ahluwalia), who was once an effortless and easy-going charmer with women swooning around him. However, he has somehow lost that smile and is an intense, brooding man today. On the other side, Radha (Neeharika Roy) is a spiritual and optimistic girl on a mission to bring back Mohan’s smile. In the recent episodes, the viewers witnessed that after marrying Mohan, Radha is trying to win him and his family's trust again while dealing with Damini and her mother's evil plans.

Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan (2) In the forthcoming episodes, viewers will witness that the whole family is all set to celebrate ‘Mahashivratri’ as a grand festival at home. And with the turn of events Radha and Damini will be seen performing the divine art form ‘Tandav’. This is for the first time Neeharika and Sambhabana have learned this dance form, and indeed a challenging one to ace in a span of 4 hours.

As Neeharika Roy mentioned, “Although I love dancing a lot, I got nervous after getting to know that I have to perform the divine art form ‘Tandav’. I am a classical dancer, but this is the first time I have performed Tandav, and the most difficult part is that I have performed this with my co-star Sambhabana. Onscreen we are always fighting but offscreen we are really good friends and coordinating with her wasn’t difficult at all. We both practiced for almost 4 hours before going for the final take. Everyone on set really appreciated our performance and I just hope the viewers love it too.”

Sambhabana Mohanty also mentioned, "‘Tandav’ is an intense dance form and needs lots of energy and strength to perform. For a non-dancer like me, it was very difficult to dance with those very heavy ‘Ghungroo’, but Neeharika really motivated me. In fact, during the shoot, I happened to injure myself because I stepped on a piece of ghungroo, but that didn’t stop me from dancing. And now, I can’t wait to hear the feedback from our viewers on this sequence, I hope they will like it.”

While it was a great experience for Neeharika and Sambhabana to learn ‘Tandav’ for a sequence, it will be interesting for the viewers to watch how Radha will gather evidence against Damini to unveil her truth in front of the whole family.
