Let us tell you that on Thursday, December 5, 2024, on its official Instagram account, Netflix India announced that the film Jigra starring Alia Bhatt will premiere on the platform on December 6. Along with the poster of the film, Netflix wrote, "Phoolon aur taaron ne kaha hai, countdown start, Jigra is coming tomorrow on Netflix".

Jigra stars Alia Bhatt and Vedang as siblings. Alia plays a young woman, Satya Anand, who struggles to save her brother Ankur Anand, who is being tortured while imprisoned in a foreign prison. Satya vows to get Ankur out of jail after he is sentenced to death. Directed by Vasan Bala, and written by Bala and Debashish Irengbam, Jigra stars Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina, and Aditya Nanda in lead roles. It is jointly produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Alia Bhatt's Eternal Sunshine Productions.
