Bigg Boss OTT 3: Vishal Says, 'I Will Work but Not Clean the Bathroom'

Do you think that Bigg Boss will be a turning point in your career journey?

I hope so. Like we say that you go to God only when he calls you, there is a girl in my team who told me the same thing that you go there only when he calls you from Bigg Boss. I was in talks for Bigg Boss for a long time and was also in talks for the last season but nothing could be finalized. I think it will be God's decision when I have to go, maybe I am in a better state of mind or my personality is better than before. I am very excited for the show.

This time, many big names from Bollywood will also be included in Bigg Boss OTT. You are a social media influencer with 9 million followers, so are you going to the Bigg Boss house with the mindset that your followers will handle you because some people did that in the last season?

No, it is not like that at all. I have a lot of faith in my online family. I am very grateful to them that they have supported me so much to date. But I am not going based on this. Whoever is coming to the Bigg Boss house is equal, no matter how many followers they have.

When you told your friends Samiksha and Bhavin that you were going to be a part of Bigg Boss OTT, what was their reaction?

Samiksha was very happy and very excited. I am very excited because they are excited for me. Samiksha and Bhavin are very happy for me because one of our three tigaada is going to Bigg Boss. I hope I will be able to make my Teen Tigada feel proud.

Bigg Boss is a controversial show where controversies keep happening. Because in the last season of Bigg Boss television, there was a lot of controversy about Munawar. If there is a controversy about your name in the show later, how will you handle it?

I know Munawar and I don't know how it started but people started saying that Munawar and Vishal look alike. I don't understand why people are saying this because we look very different. Whatever happened to Munawar in the last season, he handled it very well.

How mentally prepared are you to enter the Bigg Boss house?

I am very much mentally prepared, now let's see what happens in the show. There I will get to experience something different and I have to win anyway.

Why did you say yes to Bigg Boss OTT, why not Bigg Boss National Television?

Because OTT has given me a lot. Even if I did national television, I would still be this excited and I don't think there is much difference between these two platforms now.

This time the Bigg Boss OTT criteria have also changed because now people will be able to vote only with Jio Cinema's pre-paid plans. How much trouble is this going to cause to the contestants and how tough is the competition going to be this time?

I don't like at all that I make my fans pay any kind of money. I have never done paid meet-ups to date. How can I take money from those who have made me? I would be sad if they had to pay to do something for me.

This time Anil Kapoor is hosting Bigg Boss OTT instead of Salman Khan, so is this the reason for being a part of this time's OTT so that I don't have to listen to Salman Khan's scolding?

No, it is not like that at all. I am a big fan of Salman Khan, so it was very sad for me that he is not hosting the show this time. I like his style very much, even if he scolded me, I would have no problem with that. I felt very bad when I came to know that Salman Khan was not hosting this time. Anil sir also has his style and he has a different energy, so it will be fun with him too.

In the Bigg Boss house you will have to do all the work yourself, so how prepared are you for that, and how expert are you in cooking?

I don't know cooking but I can help a little. I can do some household work too but I will not be able to clean the bathroom. If someone has to fight with me for this then I am ready to fight with him but I will not clean the bathroom.

OTT has had two seasons so far, who is your favorite contestant in these two seasons?

Fukra Insaan i.e. Abhishek played very well and Manisha Rani also played very well. Rani is the same as she was in the show. When we met on the flight, she also talked the same way as she was talking in the show, “Hum Soche Handsome Ladka Baaju Me Baitha Hai To Baat Kar Lete Hain.” Rani is very funny and entertaining. Elvish also played well. I watched it for my friend Aashika.

Many of your friends have been a part of Bigg Boss, so have you taken any tips from them?

No, I am not taking any tips from anyone and neither do I need any tips. I think everyone has a different journey. And I do not have to behave like anyone else by going to the show as some contestants have done earlier. I have my personality and I want to show the same to people.

What would you like to say to your fans and viewers?

I would like to say to my fans that till now you all have given a lot of love to me and my team Teen Tigada. Whatever I have done to date, I have done it from my heart and I will play this game of Bigg Boss with my heart, so my request to you all is that you all should also love me with the same heart.
