Jaya Prada, who was once synonymous with beauty, had left the stardom of South films behind and came to Bollywood. Then, moving away from Bollywood's successful career and top stardom, she joined politics. First as a Rajya Sabha MP, then in the Lok Sabha, and now as a former MP, she holds her position in politics. Now he has once again returned to the screen. She is playing the role of the main protagonist 'Fatima' in the web series 'Fatima'. Through this series, Jaya Prada has played a Muslim character on screen for the first time in her life. Ten episodes of the first season of 'Fatima' are on telecast. On her return to films, she says - "Bollywood film industry is my home. I always feel a comfort zone for myself here."

Other actors in the web series 'Fatima' are Hiten Tejwani, Kainat Arora, Barkha Bisht, Bunty Chopra, Amit J. Sharma, etc. The writer and director of the series is Sanjeev Rai and the producers are First Hand Entertainment and DS Chawla.

This series is the story of today's genre. This is a rape-revenge drama. "A mother is out to take revenge on those who raped her daughter." Writer-director Sanjeev Rai explains. Hiten Tejwani is an honest police officer who is under investigation and his wife Kainaat Arora has come under suspicion. Barkha Bisht is an important character. All the links connect to Fatima. Jaya Prada says- "Today's cinema has changed. Technology making and storytelling are all different but the essence is the same!"

How did you get Jaya Prada ready for the role of 'Fatima'? On this, Sanjeev Rai says - "Jaya ji is playing a Muslim character on screen for the first time. She has never played a Muslim role before in her life. Nowadays she is in the BJP and it is also an attraction for a BJP leader to play a Muslim character on screen. The thing is!" Sanjeev says. “Told her the story in a meeting and she liked it. She said - 'Now there is no need to listen to any other story for my return. There is a message in this story, I would like to do it'... and this is how Jaya became 'Fatima'." Sanjeev Rai has earlier given films in Hindi and Bengali. His Hindi film was - 'Jee Lene Do Ek Pal' and his Bengali film was 'Ami Jo Tomar' which has been highly appreciated in film festivals. Sanjeev Rai is also making his debut on a web series platform. "All the artists have given me full support. Jaya Ji's support has been immense. Despite being a star in both films and politics, she is very cooperative on the shooting sets. She works hard to give the best results. Don't hold back and encourage us."
