Raveena Tandon will be seen in Disney+ Hotstar's web series 'Karma Calling'

Disney+ Hotstar is gearing up to serve the best entertainment to its customers in 2024. It is going to bring many amazing web series and movies. This will start with the streaming of the web series "Karma Calling", which presents the picture of women empowerment, on the occasion of Republic Day i.e. from 26th January, in which Raveena Tandon will be seen in the lead role of Indrani Kothari.

The story of ‘Karma calling’

Yes! The story of 'Karma Calling' is of Indrani Kothari, the uncrowned king of Alibag Society. He has no equal in the rich world of glitz and glamor full of deception and betrayal. Produced by R.A.T Films and directed by Ruchi Narayan, the web series will stream exclusively on Disney Hotstar from January 26, 2024. ‘Karma Calling’ is based on the American original revenge story web series. This original series was aired in America from 2011-2015. It was produced by ABC Signature, a division of Disney Television Studios.

The writer and director of many successful films is back with this series

Ruchi Narayan, director of the web series “Karma Calling” needs no introduction. She has been active in Bollywood as a writer and director for the last twenty years. Ruchi Narayan has written films like Snip, Calcutta Mail, Hazaaron, Khwaishe Aisi, In the Pink, and The Last Dance. Whereas Ruchi Narayan has directed the films 'Kal: Yesterday and Tomorrow', 'Hanuman Da Damdaar', 'Guilty', and 'hundred'. Now she is coming up with 'Karma Calling' as a writer and director.

Talking about her character of Indrani Kothari and this web series, Raveena Tandon said, “Indrani Kothari believes that the world is her stage. And I haven't played a character like this for a very long time. Karma Calling is more than meets the eye and explores different aspects of the world of the rich. Collaborating with Disney+Hotstar was a great experience and playing the role of Indrani helped me explore myself more as an actor. I have not played this kind of character till now.
