'The Traitors' Release Date Announced: Karan Johar Series to Feature Apoorva Mukhi

Now, a special teaser video has also been released with Karan Johar, in which interesting hints have been given about the celebrity contestants. Along with this, he has also announced the release date of 'The Traitors'.

Let us tell you that 'The Traitors', hosted by Karan Johar (Karan Johar to host Indian version of 'The Traitors'), will see 20 celebrities from all walks of life together in a big battle of trust and betrayal. In the teaser video shared by the makers, Karan Johar said, "Here you will find a rebel who is still a child at heart, but big on drama, and who relies entirely on his outfit to make an impression. Those who try to hide scams behind masks. Let's not forget those who went to jail for some laughs. And one who is dashing, sadly, only by name. And whose life is fabulous because of me. Thank me later, darling". 'The Traitors' will premiere on Prime Video on June 12.

Additionally, internationally, Claudia Winkleman hosts the UK version, while Avengers: Doomsday actor Alan Cumming hosts the American version. The Traitors has over 35 adaptations in over 30 countries. The Indian version will release on June 12, with a new episode premiering every Thursday.

Apoorva Mukhija can be a part of the series!

Based on Karan Johar's comments in the teaser video, it is clear that Apoorva Mukhija aka Rebel Kid, Urfi Javed, and Raftaar have been confirmed for the show. Munawar Faruqui is also likely to be a part of the show. Earlier, reports claimed that Jasmin Bhasin, Karan Kundrra, Raj Kundra, Sudhanshu Pandey, and Anshula Kapoor would also appear on the show. However, their participation is yet to be officially confirmed. One of the fastest-growing reality show formats in the world, The Traitors has over 35 adaptations in over 30 countries. The local adaptation is produced by BBC Studios India Productions in collaboration with independent distributor All3Media International.
