Vardhaan Puri Reflects on His School's Impact Amidst 'Bloody Ishq' Success

Vardhaan Puri is on cloud nine with the success of his recent release, Bloody Ishq. The actor, who has been receiving overwhelming love and appreciation from audiences, took time out of his busy schedule for something close to his heart. Vardhaan, a proud alumnus of Jamnabai Narsee School, was invited back to his alma mater to judge an event—a momentous occasion filled with nostalgia and pride.

Reflecting on the experience, Vardhaan shared, "I can't help but feel incredibly emotional because Jamnabai Narsee School is not just my school; it’s the place that shaped the person and the artist I am today. When the committee reached out to me, expressing their desire to have me as a judge, it instantly took me down memory lane. I couldn’t stop smiling, reminiscing about all the wonderful times we had at school. I knew I had to clear my schedule to be here at my beloved school."

He further added, “I vividly remember when our principal, Mrs. Jessie Vaz, once said during an assembly, 'Vardhaan, my son, today you’re winning the Best Actor award in dramatics for us. We can’t wait for the day you come back to visit this school to judge an amazing competition, perhaps the Cascades.' And now, that moment has arrived. I miss every teacher of mine, all my friends, and all the school staff. I believe I spent the majority of my childhood within these walls. As much as I credit my parents, grandparents, and family for who I am today, I must also acknowledge that my teachers have played a significant role in raising me and inspiring me in countless ways. I love them dearly."

As Vardhaan revisits the place that laid the foundation of his journey, his latest project, Bloody Ishq, continues to trend on Disney Plus Hotstar. The actor, brimming with excitement, is also gearing up for an international film shoot among other projects, which will officially be announced soon.
