PAD MAN AKSHAY KUMAR TO MEET PRIME MINISTER NARENDRA MODI BEFORE THE RELEASE OF MOVIE

Akshay Kumar is leaving no stone unturned to promote his upcoming movie Padman. After all the promotional videos to create awareness about menstrual hygiene, the actor is now in Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to spotboyE, the actor will have a 3 hour long meeting with PM and has arranged a special screening of Padman for PM Modi. A source of spotboyE said,  "It's an honor for the movie, its makers, and the cast that Modi has expressed interest in seeing what the film has all about."

The movie is based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham who invented low-cost sanitary pads for the women of his village. The role will be essayed by Akshay Kumar in the film, and Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte too play the main lead in the movie.

Twinkle Khanna who has been debuting as producer with this movie also had a meeting with Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani and Women and Child Welfare Minister Maneka Gandhi in December. The actress-cum-producer took Instagram to share the details about the meeting.
