After a series of┬ácontroversies, it seems problems for Sanjay┬áLeela Bhansali’s Padmavati/Padmavat will finally come to an end. According to the latest developments, the┬álong-delayed film most likely to release on 9 February 2018. If this speculation is true then this surely comes as a big news for the fans who are eagerly waiting for the film to hit the silver screens.

A few Weeks ago,  CBFC has passed the movie with a U/A certificate with some suggested cuts and asking the makers to change the name to Padmavat from Padmavati

On the other hand, the Karni Sena has slammed the CBFC for passing the film and still wants the film to be banned.

According to the president of the vandal Sena Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi,┬á “I want to ask the central government what benefits will they get by supporting this movie? All the Hindu parties from whom we learnt about Hinduism are quiet on this film. The central government is mum on this film as Viacom18 Motion Pictures, which is a foreign company, made it during the time of demonetisation. During a time when we were not able to get Rs 4,000, how come (Sanjay Leela) Bhansali managed to get 160 to 180 crore rupees. Bhansali has even got a certification from Britain through (David) Headley, who is currently in jail. I want to know why┬áBhansali┬áhas not been jailed? Why is he not being quizzed about (his) anti-national (activities)?”

Earlier also Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali received death threats from different fringe religious groups. After which  CBFC delayed the release.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali helmed magnum opus features Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmini and  Shahid will be seen as her husband Raja Rawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer will be essaying the role of Alauddin Khilji.

Let’s see this if this time the film will release┬áon 9th February.
