Zee TV recently launched a romantic drama - Aggar Tum Na Hote, that encapsulates the love story of Niyati Mishra (essayed by Simaran Kaur), who is a young, hard-working nurse, and Abhimanyu Pandey (essayed by Himanshu Soni), who is a charming, rich yet seemingly normal young man dealing with mental instability.
Showcasing the extent to which a nurse goes to treat her patient, Aggar Tum Na Hote has managed to inspire viewers to love beyond boundaries.
While the show seems to have already won the viewers’ hearts, it’s the soulful title track of Aggar Tum Na Hote sung by Palak Muchhal that has grabbed everybody’s attention recently.
Palak Muchhal has lent her beautiful voice to the recreated version of Lata Mangeshkar’s 80s hit track Agar Tum Na Hote and looks like she has given it a touch of her own.
Palak reveals that she always wanted to pay a tribute to the original creation and this was a dream come to true moment for her.
As Palak Muchhal revealed, “Agar Tum Na Hote is an iconic melody, originally sung by Lata ji, and composed by the great RD Burman. For me, to have actually recreated this song, was such an honour.
I have worked with Lalit ji before, but when he told me that we had to work on Aggar Tum Na Hote’s title track, I was very excited yet nervous. It is a known fact that whenever you recreate something, you put yourself to some level of comparison; but for me, it was more like a tribute to the original creation.”
She further added, “I would like to congratulate the entire cast of Aggar Tum Na Hote as the show is been well received and I would like to send my best wishes to them.
I hope the audience pours their love and blessings to the whole team and our song. I also wish people don’t compare the title track with the original song because that’s definitely not my intention.”
While Palak’s melodious track for Aggar Tum Na Hote has already left everyone mesmerized, some new twists and turns are all set to turn Abhimanyu and Niyati’s life upside down.
To know more, stay tuned to Aggar Tum Na Hote, which airs every Monday to Friday 10:30 pm, only on Zee TV
