Paresh Rawal will be seen portraying the character of Sanjay Dutt's father in the upcoming biopic Sanju. The actor is also set to work on another biopic that is of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in which the central character of the movie will be played by Paresh Rawal himself. Narendra Modi's biopic has been in the offing for quite some time but the actor confirmed the news recently saying that the biopic is in the making.
Earlier Paresh revealed that the script of the biopic was almost locked and now talking to a leading daily, Paresh informed about new developments saying, "Yes, we are making it.”
Talking more about playing Narendra Modi on-screen, he said, "Only I can play Modi. I say that even at the cost of sounding pompous because I really love him. Baat samajh mein aati hai unki. I have observed him a lot. I am also acting in a film on the 2016 Uri attack, where I play the role of National security advisor Ajit Doval.”
When asked about another real-life personality worthy of a biopic, Paresh answered saying the name of singer Kishore Kumar. And when he was asked about who should play Kishore Kumar's character on-screen, he said, “Of course, that too Ranbir should play.”
Director Anurag Basu will be working on Kishore Kumar's biopic but before going further the director has to go through certain legalities and avail permission from the people mentioned in the script.
