Now, Parineeti Chopra has also come forward about mental health issues. The actress spoke at length about suffering from depression and how she's overcome it. She gave all the credit to her younger brother, Sahaj Chopra “I think every human being who considers themselves to be emotionally evolved, always has this one very big event or person who comes into their lives and completely changes the way they think. And I can say very confidently that happened in my life,” Parineeti said in a statement. “A couple of years ago, I went through a very low phase emotionally in my life where I was really down in the dumps," she added. “Sahaj was the guy who was my voice of reason, he was the calming factor. He is the guy who knows me, he knows my pulse, he understands me, he understands the grain that I am made of. So, speaking to him, being with him every day really used to give me that confidence in myself and really took me out of that phase,” she further said, and thanked her brother publicly. “So, Sahaj thank you and I love you. You are my baby, you are my brother, you are my life, you are my soulmate, and no man will be able to ever replace that, and I am proud to say that I love you,” the actress stated. We are glad that Pari vanquished that phase and surfaced out of it unscathed with the help of her beloved brother! Her's is another of the many instances of mental health issues that need to be addressed in this country. Thankfully as this year comes to a close, we seem to have become slightly more aware of problems like depression and anxiety but there is still a long way to go. #parineeti chopra #Mental health #lifestyle #Bolywood Related Articles Advertisment Latest Stories Read the Next Article
