It’s celebration time for Parul Chauhan and her close ones. The actor, who is currently seen in Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, tied the knot with beau Chirag Thakkar yesterday morning. An intimate ceremony took place from 8-10 am at the Iskon temple, Girgaum followed by a court marriage. Producer Shahi did the Kanyadaan, something which was decided years back, says an ecstatic Parul. The actor had a Haldi and Mehndi ceremony one day before the wedding. There will be a reception on the 16^th of December in Lakhimpur. The couple will also have a reception in Mumbai, however, the date is yet to be finalized. Actors who attended the wedding included Ali Hassan, Shivangi Joshi, Sachin Tyagi, Shilpa Raizada, Mohena Kumari, Lataa Sabarwal, Rishidev and Samir Onkar and Rajan Shahi. Parul Chauhan says, “I feel blessed. Everything fell into place at the right time. I am happy to get married to the man of my choice. I am thankful to my audiences and Rajan Shahi too for being my mentor and father figure"
