People are scared to be scared: Ekta Kapoor

The cast and makers of Star Plus’ show Qayamat Ki Raat are in celebration mode as the show opened on phenomenal ratings! As the show receives rave reviews just within 2 weeks of going on air, show’s producer, Ekta Kapoor speaks about the unique concept she has come up with.

When asked, what made Ekta come up with the idea of Qayamat Ki Raat, she mentioned, “My team and I are always working towards getting newer stories for the audience. The core of this concept was when we realized that even though “being scared” is a very strong emotion, we hardly experience it in our daily lives. People are scared to be scared. So we worked out the story of Qayamat Ki Raat which brings spook back in our lives.”

The fantasy thriller genre of the show has caught many eyes and the unique look of the eeriest evil on television. Even the cast of the show has been carefully selected and Ekta has left no stone unturned in making the show a huge success.
