During this time, PM Modi also inaugurated the metro coach and new metro project in the country. It is built under the indigenous metro coach Make in India. The cost of the metro projects laid by the Prime Minister is about Rs 19 thousand crore. The three metro corridors that PM Modi laid the foundation of include the 9.2-km-long Gamukh-Shivaji Chowk (Mira Road) Metro-10 Corridor, the 12.8-km Wadala-CST Metro-11 Corridor and the 20.7-km Kalyan-Taloja Metro-12 Corridor. The Prime Minister performed Bhoomi Pujan for the Metro building on this occasion. Prior to this, he also went to the Lokmanya Seva Sangh Tilak temple in Vile Parle and worshiped Ganapati. The metro building that the Prime Minister has laid the foundation of will be a 32-storey building. The metro building is expected to be completed in 36 months while the work of three metro lines will be completed by 2026.
