Heeraben Modi Passed Away: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother Heeraben Modi passed away at the age of 100. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother Heeraben passed away on Friday (December 30) morning. He himself has shared this information in a tweet.

Paying an emotional tribute, the Prime Minister wrote, "A glorious century rests at the feet of God… In Maa I have always felt the trinity that includes the journey of an ascetic, a symbol of a selfless karma yogi and a life committed to values."

According to media reports, "Heeraben Modi died on 30/12/2022 at 3.30 am during treatment at UN Mehta Heart Hospital."

PM Modi reached Ahmedabad from Delhi on Wednesday afternoon and reached the hospital to meet his mother. He also talked to the doctors in the hospital for more than an hour.

Heeraben, also known as Hiraba, lived with PM Modi's younger brother Pankaj Modi in Raisan village near Gandhinagar city. The Prime Minister regularly visited Raison and spent time with his mother during most of his visits to Gujarat.
