Pooja Bedi Moved To Tears As She Watches Daughter Alaya F’s ‘Super-Brilliant’ Act In ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’

The otherwise bold, bohemian  vivacious model-actress Pooja Bedi is sensitive  as well . Now that her super-talented beautiful young daughter Alaya F is being showered with praises for her “spontaneous, confident, impactful performance ” as ‘Tia’,  in the just-released serious yet hilarious movie ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’, directed by Nitin Kakkar, off-screen glam-mom Pooja seems emotionally elated. When I asked Pooja ( whom I personally know ever since she stepped into showbiz and I even attended her private wedding event many years ago, ),  to  express her sentiments when she saw beti  Alaya on screen for the first time, this is what she instantly responded.   Reacted Pooja, “ When Alaya  lit up the screen,  she lit up every atom in my being... my heart felt like it was exploding with love and pride. My eyes filled with tears because I saw her years and years of grueling hard work finally come to fruition. She is beyond brilliant. Her preparation and commitment to her craft is evident. I feel so much gratitude to the universe and those who have surrounded us and filled our world with so much love and support,” asserted versatile Pooja, whose relationships-centric counseling column ‘The Heart Chakra’ in Bombay Times (Sunday) has a massive fan-following. Even as ‘positivity-personified’ Alaya is being highly appreciated for her debut-role performance in ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’,  that too being pitted opposite such seasoned acclaimed co-stars Saif Ali Khan and Tabu, the ‘grounded’ debutante refuses to  turn ‘heady with overnight fame’.  While the initial ‘F’ actually stands for Alaya’s surname Furniturewala, I personally feel that considering her screen-presence and role-play,   ‘F’ also signifies ‘ Fresh, Fantastic, Flawless, Feisty, Famous and First-Class’ !  Interestingly, Alaya F’s favourite actor is Ranveer Singh and one hopes she fulfils her dream of getting to play his ‘lady-love’ on-screen in the near-future.
