Prabhas has become the talk of the town after the mammoth success of the Baahubali franchise. The versatile actor, who made women drool over his charismatic personality and chiseled physique is on the wish list of every producer in Tollywood and now even Bollywood wants a piece of him. Now it seems there could be a hurdle in Prabhas's big Bollywood launch.

According to sources, the villain in Prabhas’s Bollywood career has proved to be his price. “Prabhas had devoted five years of his life to the two Baahubali films and it was only fair that he would want to cash in on his new success,” said a source who informed the media that Prabhas went ahead and asked for a new, inflated price for his first Bollywood venture. “But the price he asked for was staggering. While it was okay for him to ask and get his desired price—reportedly in the vicinity of ₹20 crores—in Telugu cinema, it was unrealistic for Prabhas to expect that kind of remuneration in Bollywood. No South Indian actor, not even Rajinikanth, has that kind of commercial clout in Hindi cinema. Prabhas has clearly out-priced himself from Bollywood,” he said.

“After Baahubali and its sequel, Karan was keen to launch Prabhas in Hindi cinema. But on seeing the price he was asking, Karan has decided to abandon the idea of launching him,” the source added.

We can't wait to watch Prabhas in a Hindi film but when that happens is something only time can tell now! On the work front, Prabhas is currently shooting for his next, Saaho.
