Which just cannot be done by the actor, model, anchor or singer wearing a ‘face-mask’. Amid the vaccination drive for novel coronavirus which currently includes people above 60 years of age and those above 45 with co-morbidities, several people including Bollywood celebs are demanding COVID-19 vaccines.

After dynamic actress-model Suchitra Krishnamoorthy, now outspoken senior actress-director Soni Razdan-Bhatt ( who has co-starred with her star-daughter Alia Bhatt in the landmark movie ‘Raazi’ ) recently reacted to a tweet that urged the Government to allow everyone to get vaccines.

According to Soni, it should be made available on urgent priority to the actors as well, as they actually cannot wear masks all the time.

Soni Razdan also wrote, ‘So many film and TV actors get COVID and are at huge risk when working. I mean we actually can’t wear masks.

But no one seems to think they need to be able to take the vaccine yet.' A Twitter user replied to her tweet saying it is not a crucial profession to be carried out on a daily basis. Responding to that, Soni wrote, ‘It’s a profession none the less.

People need to work right. Others can do so wearing protection but actors are the only people who cannot,And so ’ She added, 'Oh and every actor isn’t a huge superstar so those who are whining on about that can keep shut.

It is made with great risk to the concerned actors' lives. Being at the top of one's profession can’t be a disqualification for a vaccine.

'Earlier, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi had addressed the issue of COVID-19 vaccines being given to a few select group of fellow citizens. She felt that 'it is silly to not allow everyone to be vaccinated'.

Will the CINTAA ( Film and TV artistes Association ) and other allied associations of singers, junior artistes, fighters, stunt-artistes and chorus-dancers also take up Soni Razdan’s justified appeal-demand to the next level is what remains to be seen.
