PRITAM GOES ON A SABBATICAL AFTER JHMS

Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma’s Jab Harry Met Sejal finally released this Friday. And in the midst of the mixed response that the film has been garnering, the actors seem to be busy in a gruelling promotion schedule across the country while the one person who’s really relieved is the music director of the film, Pritam.

The music director and song writer took to his social media account to break the news of his break from work with his fans. He shared his feelings about the extremes he went through to complete the composition for his back to back releases in the past three months. He stated that he is relieved that the most exhausting and challenging three months of his life are finally over in which he worked simultaneously on over four films with 25 songs and 20 musicals besides doing the background music for Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos. Pritam signed off the note by thanking his fans for the continuous support while hinting of a comeback in a year or so. While most of us are unsure about why he's taking such a long break, we hope he doesn't make us wait long to experience his mesmerizing music again.
