Priyanka Chopra And Her Mother Dr. Madhu Chopra Are Nourishing A Sikkimese Project, ‘Pahuna – The Little Visitors’ Under Their Home Banner, Purple Pebble Pictures

Pahuna-The Little Visitors is scheduled to release on 7th December 2018, this is a story of three children bonding together and making a new home for themselves after being separated from their family while fleeing Nepal during an uprising.

The film takes you on a journey of these three kids and how they learn to adapt and quickly grow up in order to survive under extreme circumstances. The film deals with the children’s perspective on the issue of displacement. It also addresses the impact of fallacies and superstitions of adults on their innocent minds.

The film is enjoying lot of international attention. Although, an impactful performance isn't the only thing this project is garnering praise for! This film is directed by Paakhi A Tyrewala.

A source claims, “The on-set atmosphere was kept under strict surveillance and censorship for the comfort and convenience of kids. It was very child-friendly with morally accepted rules like no smoking or cussing around children. All of the cast and crew contently abided to those humanitarian standards of performing patiently and gracefully around these kids.”

“The child actors were prepared in advance and counseled to play certain difficult scenes on-screen, enabling them to perform well professionally in an appropriate set-up. It was understood that project won't be considered a success if it stripped their cast of their gullible innocence and affections in the process,” the source adds.

Says Doctor Madhu Chopra "Since the film features children as the main protagonists, we made a rule on the set to prevent passive smoking which would have adverse health effects, and cast a bad influence on them and to also prevent the beautiful location from getting damaged. We wanted to have a professional but positive work environment where they felt secure and cared for!"

Further added "at Purple Pebble Pictures, we don't allow certain professional ethics to be taken lightly at all so it was a mandatory rule indeed! However, I felt no hassle from any cast and crew member in terms of following what was expected from them morally. I was blessed to have an accepting and understanding cast who adapted to a child-friendly environment without any apparent discontent till the process ended.
