PRIYANKA CHOPRA TO PRODUCE AMERICAN COMEDY SERIES ON MADHURI DIXIT'S LIFE

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has already found her perch in Hollywood and the actress is all set to take her global presence to the next level. After producing a bunch of films under her banner Purple Pebble Pictures, she will producing an American comedy series for ABC. According to a report in Variety.com, the show will be based on 'Dhak Dhak Girl' Madhuri Dixit's life in the US.

Bollywood writer Sri Rao who also wrote the show “General Hospital: Night Shift,” will pen the pilot and executive produce the show, as will Dixit’s husband, Dr. Sriram Nene. Mark Gordan Company (MGC), which is currently producing shows like Ray Donovan, Grey's Anatomy and Quantico among others will produce the show along with ABC.

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra was recently seen in Baywatch. Although the film didn't perform well at the global box office, her performance was appreciated by the critics. She's currently busy with multiple Hollywood projects including the third season of Quantico, A Kid Like Jake with Jim Parsons and Isn't It Romantic where she'll be sharing the screen with Liam Hemsworth.
