Priyanka Chopra's Denial to Star in Salute ; Replaced By Kareena Kapoor Khan

There has been a strong buzz in Media about the cast of Salute a Mahesh Mathai film, based on the life of the Astronaut Rakesh sharma. The Film has to be shot by the end of the year. Initially the lead role was offered to Aamir Khan, on his denial it was taken up by Sharukh Khan.

Recently a source revealed that Kareena Kapoor Khan has finally clinched the deal to star in the film after Priyanka Chopra’s repeated denial. Sources at Deccan Chronicle reveal that Kareena has also signed Raj Mehta’s film for Karan Johar and will star opposite Akshay Kumar in it.

Akshay Kumar has been pulled in for the film opposite her and it is an entertainer. So Kareena has two consecutive films in hand after the successful Release of Veere Di Wedding

Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently rejoicing in the  prestije  of the success of her major comeback film Veere Di Wedding, co-starring Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania. That earned over 20 crore at the box-office within just two days of its release.
