“Whenever you have an idea in mind, you should never think. Just take camera and shoot it out” This seems to be short film director Priyanka Raina’s motto. After shooting a short film on Voting Rights, the social activist filmmaker exults, “Let me make it very clear that am not political at all, as I even don’t have the voting card and have hardly any knowledge of politics but for the first time I can say that our Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi is doing great and we should support him. That is the main reason that I decided to shoot something that will inspire the youth today and tell them importance of voting rights of an individual.”Previously Priyanka Raina had directed many short films which are all on Digital platforms besides assisting in the making of a few feature films. Her short film Zindagi featuring Sahila Chaddha, Yuvraaj Parashar has already hit 44 Million Hits on the You tube. The Short Film on Voting Rights features Gouraksha Dhotre and Anil Badhrge in pivotal roles where it is shown that even a shopkeeper has every right to vote and choose his leader. The short educational film was shot at the premises of Toffee Coffee Roasters in Bandra. The short film on Voting Rights is slated for release on the Eve of Baisakhi that is tomorrow on 14th April 2019.
