PVR Cinemas wins two prestigious awards at Exchange4media in content marketing awards 2019
PVR Cinemas, the largest and the most premium film exhibition company in India, got recognised for its remarkable content marketing campaigns at Exchange4media Indian Content Marketing Awards 2019. PVR Cinemas won two titles in the award ceremony organized on 4th September 2019 in Mumbai.
PVR received two esteemed awards –
- Best character led branded content
- Best crowd sourced (user generated) content

The winning campaign for Avengers Endgame lasted for a month and trended nationally on Twitter. The 360-degree campaign covered the entire social media with offline activations that received an overall engagement of approximately 5 million. The campaign saw an exponential boost with the offline activation with the live interaction event with Robert Downey Jr. at PVR IMAX across the country. PVR capitalised the campaign with special character posters launch of the film, trivia-based quizzes, Facebook exclusive 3-D photo campaign, trending character hashtags, BTS videos and selfie with Superhero contest.
