PVR Screening Room Debuts In Delhi With Acclaimed Bollywood Director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra

PVR Cinemas, a name synonymous with credibility, innovation and modern cinema-viewing; today announced the launch of PVR Screening Room – Delhi Chapter at PVR HOME in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.

The Screening Room is an endeavor by PVR Cinemas that envisions to offer a platform to the movie lovers to engage, co-create, collaborate and socialize with like-minded people around world cinema. The niche film club screens internationally acclaimed content and frequently hosts sessions called Masterclasses by India’s celebrated auteurs.

The first-of-its-kind initiative in the heart of the capital city witnessed an overwhelming response from the netizens on its first screening of Bollywood blockbuster Rang De Basanti, followed by an in-depth discussion on exemplary cinema with the notable filmmaker, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. The event was hosted by Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Bijli, Joint Managing Director, PVR Ltd. at PVR HOME, a one-of-its-kind property designed for the diverse and dedicated community of art-loving patrons, in all its forms, cinematic and otherwise.
