No lovers in early 2020 would have ever expected that Covid would come and be such a sharp thorn in their lives . But Covid came March 20, 2020 and put a stop to all celebrations and all kinds of activities , which included the favourite celebration of marriage -  Ali Peter John

There were many young couples in Bollywood who had planned to get married in 2021 , but all their plans dreams and activities were scuttled by the wild and wicked hands of Covid . Among some of the couples whose plans to tie the knot went for a toss were.

The most eagerly awaited marriage in Bollywood was the one between Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt which was postponed again and again because of the pandemic but , thank Covid has decided to be kind to these young lovers and they are now free birds and can have the kind of wedding they want to have , with the blessing of Rishi Kapoor, whose dream it was to see them get married .

Jackie Shroff was another father who had been looking forward to his son Tiger Shroff marriage with Disha Pattani , but Tiger's wedding had also to be put off time and again due to the pandemic.

But now good times seem to have come for Tiger as his new film "Heropanti 2" is due for release and it may be followed by his wedding. It seems strange to me to imagine that I had seen Tiger as Jai Hemant , a toddler in Jackie's arms and trying to drive a Mercedes at two and now becoming a hero and preparing to get married .

Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora have been hogging the limelight and have been making news in every possible way and I wonder if they will make big breaking news if they announce their decision to get married in 2022.

Among the other young lovers who are expected to give a new meaning to their love and turn into marriage are Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra, Vidyut Jamwal and his steady girlfriend Nandita Mahattani and above all Rakul Preet and Jacky Bhagnani .

There may be many more surprises in the months to come and we at Mayapuri hope and pray that an enemy of love and marriage doesn't visit the world of love and marriage at any time in the future or ever .
