The anchor, dancer, blogger, actor and entrepreneur recalls how each has been a wonderful experience and helped in building himself inside out.

“My first reality show was IIFA Star Ki Talash. I was a runner-up in the show that was judged by Anil Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Koena Mitra and Manish Malhotra.

Karan Johar and Malaika Arora were the hosts of the show. Amitabh Bachchan, who was the Brand Ambassador of IIFA, coached us.

It was my first experience on TV and was super fun and a learning experience,” shares Rahul.

He also did Channel V’s Dare To Date. Hosted by VJ Andy, he was the most famous candidate from Chandigarh in the first season of the show.

It aired in 2009 and was a success in 2014.“Andy was a great host and entertainer. I also did UTV Bindass’ Emotional Atyachar, in which I was an undercover agent.

Then I did a Big switch on UTV Bindass and MTV Chat House. Chat House was shot in Israel and one of the most expensive shows on MTV. And I won that show in 2011,” he says.

Fond of the reality show format, Rahul is keen on doing more such shows. “I would like to do reality shows that make me perform Difficult tasks.

Something like a Khatron Ke Khiladi. Being an athlete and dancer, I take care of my physical fitness, hence I think I can pull off such shows better.

A show like Bigg Boss would also be interesting because it will allow me to showcase my mental strength and my real self to the audience.

Both these shows are interesting and look fun. Their popularity will also help me reach out to a lot more people,” he concludes.
