Ayushi Khurrana

Currently seen in Star Bharat’s show Ajooni, Ayushi Khurrana who plays the lead role share’s, “Raksha bandhan is not just about Rakhi, gifts and mithai.

It is also about the unique bond between siblings and since I have an elder sister and no brother, we both celebrate the festival together by giving the promises that we will be there for each other no matter what.

For me this festival is not just for brother and sister but for siblings it can be just sisters or brothers. And I wanna tell my sister “Happy Raksha Bandhan sister and one thing I never told you is that- I may search the world over, but there could not be a better sister than you.”

Sneha Wagh

Seen in an all-in Avatar on Star Bharat in Na Umra Ki Seema Ho Sneha Wagh shares her thoughts on the festival of Rakshabandhan. She says, “I feel Rakshabandhan is as auspicious as other festivals.

It makes the bond between brothers and sisters even stronger. Today everyone is so busy in their lives that we are slowly becoming tech savvy and instead of wishing each other personally we use text messages to greet each other.

But it’s also a boon for people who stay far away from each other as it brings their dear ones closer. But no distance or technology can break the love we hold for our family and friends. I wish everyone a Happy Rakshabandhan and lots of love”.

Rachana Mistry who is playing the character of Vidhi in Na Umra Ki Seema Ho talks about the importance of Rakshabandhan in her life.

She says, “Rakshabadhan holds a very special place in my life as I am blessed with siblings, I have 2 elder sisters and 1 younger brother. We celebrate raksha bandhan with lots of love in fact we celebrate every festival like Diwali.

The festival is all about the bond and the protection that we share for each other so before I tie rakhi to my brother I tie rakhi to my elder sisters first since they’ve always been the one who has protected me.

So, it’s all about the love for each other that we hold. And since my brother is the youngest of all of us, the fun part is he receives gifts from us.”
