Rashmi Desai was busy shooting this Diwali, not at home

From beginning her career in regional entertainment to playing lead roles in Hindi serials, Rashmi has established her place in the industry. One of the most admirable things about Rashmi Desai is that no matter what, she has always chosen her work as the first priority before other things.

Unlike many other celebrities, Rashmi Desai celebrated Diwali this time working away from her family.  She said, "For some time now, I have not been in Mumbai due to work commitments and shoots. My schedule is really busy and hence, I was away from home on Diwali. Now I will be able to return to the city only after a few days. Yes, this  time I could not celebrate Diwali with my family and friends, However, I did take out time from the schedule to attend the puja and be a part of Lakshmi Puja. This is a ritual I do every year, and is important to me. I never burst crackers on Diwali and this time too I did not burst any. I am an animal and bird lover. I know what effect the explosions have on those  creatures. When some innocent stray animals get scared by the sound of explosions and try to hide somewhere, I provide them shelter. Also, I keep encouraging everyone not to indulge in any kind of noise pollution.
