Ratan Jain Of Venus To Return With 2020's Biggest Family Entertainer, Hungama 2 Which Also Marks The Return Of Priyadarshan

Hungama 2, the second instalment of the hit comedy entertainer, Hungama (2003) has been making headlines ever since it's first poster was launched. Now, in a first, the makers made a never-done-before announcement of the film on The Kapil Sharma Show. What makes it even more interesting is that the Priyadarshan directorial was announced on Republic Day to mark it's Independence Day release (14th August)  The entire Hungama 2 cast - Paresh Rawal, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Meezaan Jaffery, Pranitha Subhash, Ashutosh Rana, Rajpal Yadav,  Manoj Joshi etc had a gala time on the show as they spilled inside stories and fun anecdotes while announcing the forthcoming comedy caper.

Apart from this, the synergy between Hungama 2 cast, best known in the comedy genre and Kapil Sharma resulted in ultimate madness which will left the audience in splits in the episode. Says Paresh, "It was a wonderful and laughter-filled visit we paid to Kapil's show. I believe we couldn't have had a better platform to announce the film” Says Shilpa, "I had a blast on The Kapil Sharma Show. So happy to be part of this comic caper with such a great cast, helmed by Priyan sir who is a maverick with such a grasp on this genre. It’s been a pleasure and a learning experience,I can assure audiences they will love this Hungama 2.0.

Meezaan says, "I think that it was rather fitting that we announced Hungama 2 on one of the most hilarious Indian TV shows. The film is a unique take on comedy inspired by confusion and I can't wait for viewers to watch it." The second installment of Hungama which canvasses young talents Meezaan Jaffrey and Pranitha Subhash and talented actors like Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Ashutosh Rana, Rajpal Yadav and Manoj Joshi, is a fresh story premised on unlimited confusion and entertainment helmed by ace director, Priyadarshan. Produced by Ratan Jain (Venus) and directed by Priyadarshan, Hungama 2 is slated to release on August 14.
