Gioconda Vessichelli’s deep connection and love for India and its rich cultural heritage shine through, in her performances and dedication towards celebrating its traditions. During a relaxing moment on the set of her new film, I had the privilege of capturing some gorgeous, sexy photos of Gioconda. Expressing her gratitude and appreciation towards our country India, she handed me a poem written by her.

The world has been watching Gioconda’s spiritual bond with India for the last few years.
As an artist, Gioconda has always found solace and inspiration in the relaxing shade of India. Her visit to the country  provided her an opportunity to connect with the Indian people, culture and spirituality, which further fueled her artistic journey. She poured her heart out with a colorful program in Delhi. Gioconda’s goal was to share her love and appreciation of India with a wider audience.

Gioconda’s poem, titled “Pani”, beautifully depicts the importance of water in Indian culture. She acknowledges the important role of water as a life-giving force, which flows from the mountains and turns into a metaphorical fountain. Through her poem, she reflects on the power of tears as they symbolize a melting heart and the same water which is called Jal in pure Hindi, imparts an essential lesson of patience, faith and unbreakable dreams. Gioconda’s positive energy spreads through her verses. This amazingly mysterious girl reminds us with her amazing poem to trust in our own abilities and envision, a future where they can shine like a star.

Water—perfect word, just like India which is incredible !! Water is water. Water is life..
Seeing the emanation of water flowing through the mountain, I myself was transforming into a fountain.. The water flowing from the eyes is like a melting fiery drop which is a lesson to gain patience and faith on this human earth.
Never stop dreaming and start believing
See, then there will be a magical explosion!
So beautiful, so much magic can happen only in India and the people of India…
