Recluse, Me, Rubbish- Tabu

Tabu, the Baby Tabassum who was discovered as a child artist by Dev Anand in his film “Hum Naujawaan” turned 47 this week and in all these years, she has left many of her contemporaries way behind, both female and male. Talent is what makes all the difference and is the only major qualification that has made her one of the best actresses of Hindi Cinema.

But what her fans and admirers are curious to know is why she has not got married so far and what are the chances of her getting married at her age now. To tell the truth , Tabu had an affair with producer Sajid Nadiadwala when he was not such a big producer. Rumours of the time said that they had even got married which turned out to be rumours and nothing else. She is also said to have had an affair with the Telugu superstar Nagarjuna(who was already married to one - time actress Amala) but even that so –called affair ended before it could make sense.

Tabu has not been associated with any other men since the last ten years or more , not openly , at least. She lives alone with her mother in the same building where Boney Kapoor and Sridevi lived and now Boney lives with his star daughter Jahnvi and Khushi. There was another rumour about her gradually turning into a recluse. When asked if it was true, she just said , “recluse, me, rubbish”.

She however looks gorgeous even if she is 47 and what is important is that she finds the kind of roles that suit her and she excels in.
