Rehaan Roy Says His Relationship With His Pet Dog Murphy Is Of Pure And Unconditional Love

No matter how hectic his day has been, coming home is always extra special for actor Rehaan Roy, all thanks to his pet dog Murphy. “I don’t know how to describe the role he plays in my life, maybe my kid, maybe my friend. But you know, when I come back home, I feel like someone is waiting for me at home. Once he sees me back home, his excitement level says it all. It’s a relationship of pure and unconditional love,” he says.

He adds, “I think no one can love me as he loves me. He can’t sleep without me, he sleeps on my bed with me and I can’t eat my breakfast without feeding him first till date. This is our bond.”Talking about how Murphy became part of his life, he says, “Well, his mother was someone whom I brought up since she was 35 days old. She stayed with me her whole life and then she got pregnant and I clearly remember how much I cried when Murphy was born, right on my hand!  Murphy is Zoya’s first child.”

Rehaan makes sure to spend time with Murphy every day. “I love him beyond anything in this world and whenever I’m home, I love taking him out. I do all his work personally, be it taking him to the vet or taking him to the beach. But when I’m not home, I have a boy who takes care of him. And the best part is that my boy also loves Murphy a lot,” he says. Rehaan is very fond of dogs and makes sure to do his bit for the ones on the street too. “I love to feed strays. I had a few puppies down my building who lost their mother when they were about 8 days. My boy and I used to go every day and night to feed them milk. Then with time I started giving them more solid food and now I see them all grown up and whenever they meet me,” he signs off.
