Rekha Bhardwaj’s Namak Ishq Ka on Indian Idol 10

Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian Idol 10 is recently announced its exceptional Top 14 singing sensations  of this season. These young singing superstars out of all aspirants from across the country are going to set the stage on fire with their incredible voices with the gala episode 28^th & 29^th July at 8 PM on Sony Entertainment Television. To encourage these aspiring singers renowned singing maestros will grace the stage with these budding contestants. One such renowned singer who dignified the stage was the queen of ghazals- Rekha Bhardwaj. The National award winner singer came to support and motivate the Rajasthani girl Renu Nagar who has taken the judges’ breath with her outstanding voice.

Renu was in complete surprise when Rekha Bhardwaj entered the stage, she hugged her and also touched her feet before her performance. Renu mesmerized everyone with her soulful performance impressing the judges, the guests and also the audience. Anu Malik also mentioned that it was such an honour to have Rekha Bhardwaj amidst them. Rekha Bhardwaj enthralled the live audience by singing Namak Ishq Ka with Renu and got everyone grooving on their feet. Their energetic performance was acknowledged by a standing ovation from the audience and judges.

When asked about her experience of coming to Indian Idol Rekha shared, “Indian Idol 10 is totally different from the previous season and I feel that the jury has chosen an exceptional talent this season. I really felt good coming over here and I was here to support Renu Nagar. I am very happy to support her as she is a very god singer. She has fought to keep her singing alive from all the other constraints and she has a fabulous voice.  It is really great that “a Chori” from Rajasthan has come all the way to such a huge platform. The rest of the contestants also have potential and are really talented. May the best one win.”
